# Post-Installation

After the Agent app has been successfully installed, please complete the following steps to ensure stable operation:

1. **Turn Off Google Play Protect**
   * Prevents the system from automatically blocking or uninstalling the app.
   * Steps: *Play Store → Profile → Play Protect → Settings → Turn off*.
2. **Grant All Required Permissions**
   * Open the app → allow requested permissions (Location, Contacts, SMS, Microphone, etc.).
   * Without these permissions, data collection features will not work.
3. **Allow Background Activity**
   * Ensure the app can run continuously in the background.
   * Steps vary by brand (Samsung, Xiaomi, Oppo, Huawei, Vivo).
   * See section **Brand-Specific Instructions** for details.
4. **Disable Battery Optimization for the App**
   * Prevents Android from killing the app while running in the background.
   * Usually under *Settings → Apps → Special Access → Battery Optimization → Don’t optimize*.
5. **Verify Installation**
   * Open the Admin Panel (cPanel) → Devices → check if the newly installed device shows as **Connected**.
   * If status is “Connected”, installation is successful.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://copy9.gitbook.io/support/guide/agent-app/post-installation.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
